The contract is readable until it matters

An employment contract may look deceptively simple:

Employment Japanese affects money, time, benefits, legal status, and life planning. Gist-reading is not enough.

The key principle is:

An employment contract must be read by clause function: party, action, condition, deadline, consequence, and cross-reference.
