서울 강남구 인터컨티넨탈호텔에서 14일 열린 'SAP 나우 AI 투어 코리아 2026'에서 이런 변화를 보여주는 시연이 있었다. 발표자가 "수익성에 큰 변화가 생긴 제품을 찾아줘"라고 입력하자 SAP의 기업용 AI '쥴(Joule)'은 원가율이 전달보다 12% 넘게 오른 제품을 찾아냈다. 이어 자재 명세서와 구매 내역을 분석해 재료비와 해상 물류비 상승이 원인이라는 설명을 내놨다. 여러 부서가 며칠 동안 자료를 모아야 했던 일을 몇 분 만에 해낸 것이다.

가장 눈에 띄는 대목은 'AI 취약계층'의 범위다. 과기정통부는 이용하는 AI 서비스의 성능에 따라 실질적인 사회적 격차가 생길 수 있다고 보고, 장애인·65세 이상 고령자·기초생활수급권자·차상위계층 등 기존 디지털 취약계층에 더해 경력보유여성과 구직자 등 고성능 AI 서비스에 접근하기 어려운 이들까지 취약계층에 포함했다. AI 확산에 따라 빠르게 변하는 사회에 대응하기 위한 조치다.

대기업도 못 한 UAM 기체 개발, 중견 기업이 첫 시험 비행
이번 비행 시연에 투입되는 기체는 삼보A&T가 개발한 'B - 32 - R2'로 폭 10m, 길이 6.2m, 최대 이륙 중량은 950㎏에 달한다. 상승과 하강을 위해 8개의 로터를 달았고, 추진력을 얻기 위해 V자 꼬리날개 아래에 2개의 프로펠러를 장착했다. 비행은 15일 오전 10시16분부터 제자리에서 5m 가량 이륙한 후 공중정지비행(hovering)을 하는 방식으로 3분 가량 이뤄진다.

충남도·논산시, AI 국방로봇 방산혁신지구 조성 본격화
앞서 방사청은 지난달 '2026년 방산혁신클러스터 조성 사업' 공모에서 충남 논산시를 최종 후보지로 선정했다. 이에 따라 충남도는 논산시 연무읍을 중심으로 반경 5㎞ 이내에 종합지원센터와 실증지원센터, 실증시험장 등을 조성하고, 민관군 협력 체계를 기반으로 한 AI 국방로봇 산업 지원체계를 마련할 계획이다.
