신흥엠에스티는 치과 의료기기 기업 신흥의 임플란트 제조 전문 자회사로, 현재 원주 동화 농공단지 내 공장을 가동 중이다. 이번 협약에 따라 1023억원을 투자해 인근 원주 자동차부품 일반산업단지에 공장을 신설할 계획이다. 신규 공장은 내년 상반기 착공해 2030년 완공을 목표로 한다. 생산라인 안정화에 맞춰 총 80명의 지역 인재도 단계적으로 채용할 예정이다.

Under the agreement, it plans to invest 102.3 billion won to build a new factory in the nearby Wonju Automotive Parts General Industrial Complex.
The new plant will break ground in the first half of next year and aims for completion in 2030.
As production lines stabilize, it will gradually hire a total of 80 local professionals.
