조사 결과 10세 이상 장애인의 영구치 충치 보유율은 31.7%로 나타났다. 살면서 충치를 한 번이라도 겪어본(현재 보유 및 치료·발치 포함) 비율은 95.3%에 달했고, 충치를 앓았거나 치료·발치한 영구치는 1인당 평균 9.3개였다. 이는 2019년 국민건강영양조사에서 확인된 10세 이상 전체 국민의 영구치 충치 보유율(24.4%), 1인당 평균 경험 충치 개수(7.3개)보다 높은 수준이다.

A total of 95.3% had experienced cavities at least once in their lives (including current cases and those treated or extracted), and the average number of permanent teeth that had cavities or were treated/extracted was 9.3 per person.
