한-이탈리아, 첨단기술·중기 협력 등 MOU 4건...정상 간 '전략적 행동계획' 채택
양국 정부는 이날 한-이탈리아 첨단 과학기술·ICT(정보통신기술) 협력 MOU를 통해 인공지능(AI), 양자기술, 바이오·생명과학, 우주기술 등 미래 전략 기술 분야 협력을 추진하기로 했다. 국제 연구 프로그램에 공동으로 참여하고 과학기술 정책과 법·제도 동향 등 정보 교류도 확대키로 했다.
Through a Korea-Italy MOU on advanced science, technology and ICT cooperation, the two governments agreed that day to pursue cooperation in future strategic technologies such as AI, quantum technology, bio and life sciences, and space technology.
They also agreed to jointly participate in international research programs and to expand information exchanges on science and technology policy and trends in laws and institutions.

A trial court ruled that former president Yoon Suk-yeol approved a Pyongyang drone operation in October and November 2024 to create a pretext for declaring martial law.
It says he tried to induce a North Korean military provocation to create a national security crisis resembling wartime conditions.
The court sentenced former president Yoon to 30 years in prison, matching the special prosecutor's request.
Kim Yong-hyun, the former defense minister who planned and carried out the Pyongyang drone operation, was sentenced to 30 years, and Yeo In-hyung, the former counterintelligence commander who took part, received 15 years.

이 재판은 국민참여재판으로 진행돼 배심원 7명 중 4명이 유죄, 3명이 무죄로 평결했다. 그러나 재판부는 이를 따르지 않았다. 국민참여재판법에 따르면 배심원 평결은 권고적 효력만 있다.
This trial was held as a citizen-participation trial, and of the seven jurors, four voted guilty and three voted not guilty.
However, the court did not follow that.
Under the Citizen Participation Trial Act, juror verdicts have only advisory effect.
'빚투'에 신용대출 1.6조 급증...시중은행 가계대출, 이달 들어 2.8조 '쑥'
금융당국에 따르면 지난달 금융권 가계대출은 9조3000억원 증가해 전월(3조5000억원) 대비 증가폭이 확대됐다. 주담대는 4조원 늘어 전월(5조5000억원) 대비 증가폭이 축소됐다. 반면 신용대출(3조4000억원)을 중심으로 기타대출이 5조3000억원 증가하면서 전체 가계대출 증가세를 견인했다.
According to financial authorities, household loans from financial institutions rose by 9.3 trillion won last month, a larger increase than the previous month (3.5 trillion won).
Mortgage loans increased by 4 trillion won, a smaller rise than the previous month (5.5 trillion won).
By contrast, other loans—led by unsecured loans of 3.4 trillion won—rose by 5.3 trillion won, driving the overall growth in household lending.

중부지방과 전북, 전남권 북부, 경상 서부 내륙에 소나기가 내리겠으며, 경기 남동부와 강원 남부 내륙은 늦은 밤까지 비가 이어지겠다. 특히 수도권·충남권·전라권에는 시간당 20㎜ 안팎의 강한 소나기가 내리는 곳이 있겠다. 소나기 특성상 같은 지역 내에서도 강수량 편차가 클 것으로 예상된다.
Showers are expected in the central region, North Jeolla, northern South Jeolla, and the inland western parts of Gyeongsang, while rain will continue through late night in southeastern Gyeonggi and southern inland Gangwon.
In particular, parts of the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungnam, and Jeolla could see strong showers of around 20 mm per hour.
Because of how showers behave, rainfall amounts are expected to vary greatly even within the same area.
