류제명 과기정통부 제2차관은 이날 오후 주한 외교관 초청 행사를 통해 우리나라 AI·ICT 정책과 기술을 소개했으며, 외교관들과 함께 전시장을 직접 둘러보며 국내 기업의 AI·ICT 제품 및 서비스를 체험하도록 안내했다.
Deputy Minister Ryu Jae-myung of the Ministry of Science and ICT introduced South Korea’s AI and ICT policies and technologies at an afternoon event for diplomats in Korea, and guided them around the exhibition so they could directly try domestic companies’ AI and ICT products and services.

앞서 이 사건을 수사한 이명현 특별검사팀은 지난해 이 전 비서관을 각 혐의의 피의자로 소환해 조사했다. 이어 이 전 비서관을 범죄도피 혐의로 불구속기소했다. 직권남용 권리행사방해 혐의에 대해선 '이 전 비서관이 수사과정에 적극 조력했다'며 기소유예로 처분했다. 기소유예란 범죄는 성립하지만 그 정도가 경미해 재판에 넘기지 않는 처분을 말한다.

It then indicted the former secretary without detention on a charge of harboring a criminal.
On the abuse of authority and obstruction of the exercise of rights charges, it handled the case as a suspension of prosecution, saying, 'the former secretary actively cooperated during the investigation.'
A suspension of prosecution means a disposition where the act constitutes a crime but is so minor that it is not sent to trial.

삼성바이오에피스는 2026년 1분기 매출 4549억원, 영업이익 1440억원을 기록했다고 23일 공시했다. 전년 동기 대비 매출은 14%, 영업이익은 13% 증가했다. 회사가 제시한 연간 매출 10% 이상 성장 가이던스도 1분기부터 달성하며 안정적인 성장 흐름을 이어갔다. 삼성바이오에피스 관계자는 "글로벌 바이오시밀러 제품 판매 확대와 신규 포트폴리오 확대가 견인한 것으로 분석된다"고 말했다.

Sales rose 14% and operating profit rose 13% year on year.
The company also met its guidance for annual sales growth of more than 10% as early as the first quarter, maintaining a steady growth trajectory.
