한편 미 국방부는 구글과도 기밀 업무용 AI 모델 계약을 추진하는 것으로 나타났다. 이날 정보기술(IT) 전문매체 디인포메이션에 따르면 미 국방부는 군사 등 기밀 업무에 구글의 '제미나이'를 활용하는 방안을 협의하고 있다. 다만 구글은 국방부와의 논의 과정에서 미국 내 대규모 감시와 인간의 감독·통제 없는 자율 살상 무기에는 AI를 사용할 수 없도록 하는 조항을 제안한 것으로 알려졌다.

개인정보 열람, 정정·삭제, 처리 정지 등 정보 주체의 권리를 알고 있다는 응답은 성인 37.4%, 청소년 38.5%에 불과했다. 성인, 청소년 모두 개인정보 보호 중요성에 비해 권리에 대한 인식은 상대적으로 낮았다. 서비스 이용 시 개인정보 처리 동의 내용을 확인한다는 응답은 성인 54.4%, 청소년 47.7%였다.

For both adults and teens, awareness of rights was relatively low compared with the importance attached to personal data protection.
