대법원 1부(주심 신숙희 대법관)는 16일 포스코를 상대로 협력사 직원 총 223명이 제기한 근로자 지위 확인 소송 2건에서 215명에 대해 원고 승소 판단을 내린 원심 판결을 확정했다. 나머지 원고 가운데 1명은 정년을 넘겨 소의 이익이 없다는 이유로 소송을 각하했다. 냉연제품 포장 업무를 맡은 포스코엠텍 직원 7명은 실질적인 사업 편입을 인정하지 않으며 항소심에 파기 환송했다.
