Around 3:15 a.m. on the 7th at an intersection on a prefectural road in Yasunaga, Tottori City, a two-person bicycle that had been chased by an unmarked police car collided head-on with a passenger car.
A boy from Tottori City who had been riding on the back of the bicycle was transported to a city hospital in critical condition and unconscious.
The rider abandoned the bicycle and fled.
The Tottori Prefectural Police's Tottori Station is searching for the person's whereabouts.
