ソフトバンクG、純利益国内初5兆円超え オープンAIに巨額出資：朝日新聞
ソフトバンクグループ（SBG）が13日発表した2026年3月期決算（国際会計基準）は、純利益が5兆22億円で前年（1兆1533億円）の4.3倍に拡大し、過去最高となった。 純利益が5兆円を超えるのは日本企業で初めて。 出資先の米オープンAIの投資利益が増えたことが大きく寄与した。
SoftBank Group (SBG) said on the 13th that its fiscal year to March 2026 (IFRS) net profit was ¥5.0022 trillion, 4.3 times the previous year's ¥1.1533 trillion, marking a record high.
This is the first time a Japanese company’s net profit has exceeded ¥5 trillion.
A large part of this was due to increased investment gains from its investee, U.S. OpenAI.

東京商工リサーチは１３日、１～４月の塗装工事業の倒産件数が前年同期比２６・３％増の４８件だったと発表した。 人手不足や資材高が主な要因だとしているが、ホルムズ海峡の事実上の封鎖に伴うナフサ（粗製ガソリン）の供給不安の影響も出始めており、今後も倒産は増える可能性がある。
Tokyo Shoko Research announced on the 13th that bankruptcies in the painting-construction industry from January to April totaled 48, up 26.3% from the same period last year.
They say labor shortages and higher material costs are the main causes, but supply worries over naphtha (crude gasoline) following the effective blockade of the Strait of Hormuz have begun to show effects, so bankruptcies may continue to rise.

India’s National Testing Agency announced on the 12th that it would void the nationwide medical school entrance exam held on the 3rd of this month, saying there is a suspicion that questions were leaked beforehand.
Medical school is a popular choice in India, where competition to get into universities is fierce, and about 2.2 million examinees are left bewildered.

障害のある少女を拘束して押し入れに閉じ込めるなどしたとして両親と兄が逮捕監禁致傷容疑で逮捕された事件で、母親が逮捕前の任意の調べに、昨年９月頃に押し入れを改造して監禁する場所を作ったと説明していたことが捜査関係者への取材でわかった。 警視庁は、この頃から監禁が常態化していたとみている。
In the case in which the parents and an older brother were arrested on suspicion of unlawful confinement and causing injury for restraining a disabled girl and locking her in a closet, reporting found that the mother told voluntary investigators before her arrest she had remodeled the closet around last September to create a place to confine her.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department believes the confinement had become routine from around that time.
