研究支援AIの開発に最大30億円、文科省が公募 材料や生命科学
事業はAIを科学研究に活用する「AI for Science」という取り組みの一環で、今回の公募は「AI for Science革新的研究推進事業（ARiSE）」と名付けられた。 文科省が3月末にまとめた戦略方針を具体的に推進するための中心的な事業に位置付けられる。
The program is part of an effort called “AI for Science” to apply AI to scientific research, and this call has been named the “AI for Science Innovative Research Promotion Project (ARiSE).”
It is positioned as a core program for putting into action the strategic policy MEXT compiled at the end of March.

こうした実態やSNSの浸透、AIの発展を踏まえ、文科省は、人間同士のリアルなコミュニケーションの重要性が高まる中、自らの考えを表現し、対話する力の育成や、人間ならではの感性を育む学びが現状では不足していると判断。 文理を問わず、表現や文学作品を学ぶ機会を増やす必要があるとした。
In light of these realities, the spread of social media, and the rise of AI, MEXT concluded that, at a time when real human-to-human communication is becoming more important, current learning still falls short in helping students express their own ideas, build dialogue skills, and cultivate sensibilities unique to human beings.
It said there is a need to increase opportunities to study expression and literary works regardless of whether students focus on arts or sciences.
