Farmers are the group who deserve the most attention when disasters strike.
Their livelihoods depend on the weather; a single downpour can wash away a year's hard work and hopes.
Because of this, when disaster comes they suffer the worst losses and recover the slowest; they lack sufficient insurance protection and also lack stable income sources.
We must give a hand and offer some support to the farmers hit by disasters.
