한국 기업들이 엔비디아가 구축 중인 'AI(인공지능) 생태계'에 대거 참여한다. SK·LG·두산·네이버 등 국내 주요 기업은 8일 엔비디아와 체결한 구체적인 협업 내용을 공개했다. 이들 기업 총수들은 지난 5일 방한한 젠슨 황 엔비디아 최고경영자(CEO)를 잇따라 만나며 AI 협력 관계를 강조했다. 국내 기업들이 공개한 엔비디아와 AI 협력의 핵심은 AI 전용 반도체 연구와 AI 데이터센터, 피지컬 AI 분야다.

황 CEO는 네이버와 협력 분야를 세 가지로 제시했다. 첫째는 엔비디아의 프론티어 AI 모델 개발 협의체인 '네모트론 연합'에 네이버가 참여하는 것이다. 그는 "범용 AI만으로는 부족하다"며 한국어·과학·로봇 제조 등 특화 영역에 맞춰 미세조정(파인튜닝)할 수 있는 고성능 개방형 모델을 함께 만들겠다고 설명했다. 네이버는 커서·미스트랄AI·퍼플렉시티 등 12개 기업이 참여하는 네모트론 연합에 국내 기업으로는 처음 합류했다.

First, Naver will join 'Nemotron Alliance,' NVIDIA’s Frontier AI model development consortium.
He said "general-purpose AI alone is insufficient" and explained they will jointly build a high-performance open model that can be fine-tuned for specialized areas like Korean, science, and robot manufacturing.
Naver became the first domestic company to join the Nemotron Alliance, which includes 12 firms such as Cursor, Mistral AI, and Perplexity.
